      We have a Slack channel, which is purely optional, but highly recommended. The course Slack has a number of channels for specific purposes and topics. When starting a discussion, please select the most relevant channel and check if similar discussion already exists to keep things tidy. Slack is a place of low-threshold communication, and we highly encourage active participation, like helping fellow students, posting things you find interesting, asking help, discussing articles, or even posting memes and pictures of your animals!
