Corporate financial management and reporting course consists of six weeks of studying. The course will be held in English. Note, that you can choose to take the exams either in English or Finnish. Choose your assessment language from below. We have included short vocabularies to assist your learning each week.
After completing this course:- You will understand the role of accounting in companies and society.
- You will be able to explain the significance of financial reporting.
- You will comprehend the key concepts of financial reporting and typical business transactions.
- You will be able to analyse the impact of business transactions on a company's cash flows, income statement and balance sheet.
- You will be able to read and interpret financial statements and calculate their key ratios.
- You will understand the importance of financial control in business operations.
- You will be able to prepare financial plans and evaluate the profitability of products, services, and investments and make managerial decisions based on this information.
- You will understand how performance can be measured and evaluated using both financial and non-financial metrics, and you will also be able to determine metrics based on the company's strategy.
