Teachers Services: MyCourses Basics 2024-

This Mycourses Basics self-study course is intended for:

• for new teachers
• anyone teaching at Aalto or
• working with the MyCourses learning environment.

For this course you will log in as a student role using self enrolment. Normally students enrol via Sisu, but this is an exception course. You can go through the content at your own pace and return to it later. The tasks are carried out according to the role of the student. It takes about 3-4 hours to complete.

This course introduces:

• Basic functions and settings of MyCourses
• How to use MyCourses
• assignment types and assessment principles.

On completion of the course, you will have the basic skills:

• Use MyCourses for teaching
• How to make your own course
• adding assignments and materials to the course workspace and
• create your assessment.
