- have a good command of the basics of German grammar (level B1 completed)
- recognise and be able to use the grammatical structures typical of demanding factual texts

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    Online course for independent study, including a review of verbs, prepositions and declension of adjectives. The materials focus on the passive and its substitutes, verbs of function, separable and inseparable compound verbs, the special uses of modal auxiliary verbs, the use of the conjunctive in factual texts, verb nominalisation
