CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The course introduces new product development (NPD) models and explores the various development phases. Students get to familiarize themselves with various methods and tools commonly used for exploration, ideation and concept development in the early phases of development projects.

    This course has been designed so that it can be taken at the same time as MEC-E3001 Product Development Project and MEC-E3080 Global Innovation Practices, but it can also be taken alone. Students majoring in product development should take the course at the same time as MEC-E3001 Product Development Project.
