LEARNING OUTCOMES

On completing the course, you will be able operate in a culturally astute manner in typical international situations. You will dare to speak impromptu on common topics of discussion, be a perceptive reader and listener able to utilise the information you obtain, and be able to explain things in your own words.

The course is conducted as hybrid teaching, allowing students to choose to participate in either classroom or remote sessions.

Content

    Communications pertaining to international knowledge of the countries and customs.
    Structures and grammar specific to written communications

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    The course requires regular attendance, active participation in class and completion of homework assignments. A combined written and oral examination. The weights given to the different assignments in the final grade are specified at the start of the course.
