  • Distinguish longitudinal shear transfer mechanisms in steel concrete composite beams, slabs and columns.
  • Analyze and design steel and concrete composite beams, columns, slabs, and floor systems.
  • Explain classification criteria and design principles of steel, steel and concrete composite joints and frames.
  • Analyze and design both steel and steel-concrete composite members and structures in fire.

    Behaviour and design of steel-concrete composite beams, slabs, and columns. Analysis and design of steel, steel and concrete composite frames and joints. Structural fire design of both steel and steel-concrete composite structures.
