LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completing the course, you will be able to:

- ask and tell directions and discuss health and other subjects of interest
- write longer texts and exchange emails
- do independent research

- recognise about 200 new Chinese characters and be able to use them.

Content

    Expanding Chinese vocabulary, revising and increasing grammar, plenty of oral exercises, listening comprehension exercises and writing assignments, deepening knowledge of Chinese culture.

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    1. Lectures 36 h and self-study 72 h, active participation. Passing the course requires 75% attendance in class.
    2. Group work, oral and written assignments (40%)
    3. Oral exam (20%)
    4. Written exam (40%)
