    Basic concepts of building acoustics and noise control. Sound absorption. Airborne and impact sound insulation. Ventilation noise. Flow noise. Environmental noise. Noise and vibration at workplaces. Vibration isolation. Active noise cancelling. National regulations. The effects of noise.
