After the course, the participant should
a) know the main concepts of business model design
b) be able to apply the most common frameworks and tools of business model design and
c) have a basic understanding of how and why business model innovations occurs

Content

    The course introduces the concepts, tools, and principles of business model design aligned with the theories of strategic management. The main emphasis will be on understanding how business models emerge and based on what resources and capabilities these are designed. In addition, throughout the course we will touch up upon the requirements set by the markets and business environment.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Students must attend and display active participation. They must also pass the weekly assignments (written and oral) as well as the exam at the end of the course.
