Content

Designers are immensely facing multiculturalism in the contexts of work and life. Through globally connected yet localized lifestyles, (in)direct encounters of new cultures have increased. Thus, experiences for careful translations of design is needed. This elective course Translating Design offers an opportunity to engage in the question collectively: "How might designers deal with different cultures while being sensitive to their practice?"
Assessment Methods and Criteria

Grade is based on the final documentation on the criteria of (1) artefacts, (2) reflection/documentation, and (3) communication.
All assignments need to be submitted and passed. 80% minimum attendance policy.
