Content

The course includes practice-led studio work, where students explore their individual projects. The students work on an advanced level with their projects in woven fabrics and jacquards, knits and knitwear, printed fabrics and finishes, and/or 3D-shaping projects. The students are allocated to the studios and teachers according to their projects and plans. The project can combine work in two or three different studios. Contents may vary from one studio and implementation to the next depending on the project and possible collaboration project with an external industry stakeholder.

The Advanced Workshop Project course runs throughout the year with intake at the beginning of each period. It supports 2nd year FaCT students in their practice-led thesis project studio work.
Registration in Sisu. Maximum 30 students. Workshop-specific quotas are considered in student intake.
Priority order:
- Fashion, Clothing and Textile Design MA (FaCT)students.
The course is intended for students with an approved thesis plan, working on their thesis projects.
