LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • understand and use basic research vocabulary
  • compose a research plan
  • discuss and contextualize their research and research completed by others
  • position their research in different discussions & discourses

Content

    Doing Research in Art and Media is a compulsory joint course that introduces students to research practices, key research methods and relevant inquiries in the field of Art and Media. The course includes tasks and activities that range from critical thinking and  reading, writing, presenting, and peer-reviewing research.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    Participation in teaching, completed assignments. Minimum 80% attendance.

Workload
