CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The game seminar is a course where the students have a chance to look at games from different points of view, listening to presentations and discussing them, doing exercises, watching relevant video material and visiting game industry events and companies. It is also supporting the students other game projects by providing an arena where people can test and comment on each other's work, and also play other games to increase their knowledge of games and game related phenomena.

    Because of the changing contents, the course can be taken many times. If you have already done the course once, register for the course Game Seminar 2 (AXM-E5011) to join. 

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    The course is Pass/Fail. Students have to be present 80% of the time and make the exercises that are part of the course to pass.

Workload
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    Lectures, Groupwork, Workshop and practice-based work, Independent reading and writing, Reflection and thinking.

    51h of contact teaching, 30h of independent study, groupwork amd reflection.
