LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course is for students who want to deepen their visual and narrative expression by creating a comic series. The student develops abilities to work in the field of comic art. The student gains experience in different steps of the comic art project and they understand the requirements and preconditions of the artistic working process.

    The main working method during the course is guided and independent work, group discussions and critiques. The projects under development discussed thoroughly with the group.

    Registration:

    Priority order: 1. Students in the Comics Expression minor 2. Students that have completed the course ARTS-A0228 Introduction to Comics Project 3. Other ARTS students 

    Minimum amount of participants is 8 students. Maximum amount of participants is 16 students.  

    After the registration has closed, SISU conducts a raffle to allocate all the seats while considering the possible prioritisation order stated above. If there are more registrants than available seats, ten (10) students from the remaining applicants are drawn and placed on a waiting list in numerical order. On the first day of the course, these students may check for available seats in case of no-shows. Any available seats are then filled in numerical order.
