Please note! Course description is confirmed for two academic years, which means that in general, e.g. Learning outcomes, assessment methods and key content stays unchanged. However, via course syllabus, it is possible to specify or change the course execution in each realization of the course, such as how the contact sessions are organized, assessment methods weighted or materials used.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

After taking the course you can design and implement an object-oriented program consisting of several classes. You are able to use object-oriented abstractions such as inheritance. You understand the effects of design decisions on the functionality of program and on the program development process, especially on the further development of the code. You can justify and document the key design decisions made during the process. You know how to use unit testing in program development. You can use tools in an integrated development environment. You know the basics of concurrent programming and how they can be applied in a simple case. You can find information from documentation of programming language and libraries, and from net.
