One of the course objectives is to learn how to write texts and essays in Spanish that correspond to the course's language proficiency level. In writing assignments, the use of AI, translation programs or, for example, assistance from Spanish-speaking individuals is not allowed. However, you may use these tools to look up individual words.
Assessment of written assignments
The content and structures of the writing must correspond to the language proficiency level of the course. This means that if the text contains structures that are more advanced than the course level, it will negatively impact the assignment's score, even if the structures are correct. The essay may also be completely rejected.
The student is always responsible for ensuring that their work is entirely their own. It is often easy for the teacher to detect cheating, such as a text written by an AI or another person.
