  • Exams

    • Exams last for 3 hours, although 2 hours should usually be enough for the well-prepared. Calculators are allowed, computers are not. 

      You can write the exam answers in either English or Finnish, but you must use the same language consistently for all questions.

      Notice that some exams were take-home "open book" exams due to the pandemic. (Open book = with access to notes and other materials.) This is pointed out on the first page of the exam. Usually the exam is in class and "closed book". This affected the structure of the exam and the types of questions.
