Please notice, that this implementation opens 2.9.2024.

This self-study online course, where students can choose from the online self-study modules offered on the MyCourse pages of the course, focuses on effective ideation and collaboration in creative projects. The modules focus on idea generation, different tools and methods to enhance creating solutions to varying problems, as well as fostering creativity in collaborative creative work. Students will learn about key concepts affecting teamwork in e.g. product development projects, and learn to identify and mitigate typical pitfalls. The full content of these modules becomes visible in MyCourses as soon as you register to the course, and these can be completed by the student at any time during the year.

The amount of study credits depends on the number of online modules chosen by the student.

After the completion of the course, you will

    • know and be able to utilize diverse idea generation and selection tools and methods
    • understand key concepts and dynamics of teamwork in creative work and development projects

There are two one-credit modules available for self-study, where you can pick 1-2 to complete to gain 1-2 study credits. You need to complete all lessons and questions from the module to pass. You can retake the modules - but please make sure to save your essay responses to a separate file, as these seem to be deleted in re-takes.

Note that while the course modules can be completed at any time, study credits are awarded three times a year, for those having completed all within-module components and for those who have requested registering their credits to Sisu after completing all the modules one wishes to complete, by the end of the evaluation periods of Periods I, III, and V. Registration requests submitted at other times will wait to be handled during these evaluation times. This is a pass/fail course.
