LEARNING OUTCOMES

The students learn the essential novel methods of the selected topic of automation, control or robotics in the discussion sessions, and how it is applied by doing homeworks.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    A doctoral-level seminar course.  Changing content. The professor decides the actual topic of automation, control or robotics. A good novel textbook or suitable conference proceedings is/are selected. The seminar sessions are organized and schedule decided.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Evaluation of presentations and  discussion activity (66%) and submitted homeworks (34%).

Workload
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    In seminar sessions, every participant in turn explains or gives presentation about  the subtopic  and gives homework  to others and evaluates those.  Other participants should read beforehand the material about that  subtopic so that difficult things can  be discussed through so that all understand.   Learning by doing via homeworks.  It is a learning together.
