CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The course consists of lectures from experts working in the intersection of design and artificial intelligence (AI) from different perspectives (below), and teamwork on AI topics.

    a. How does AI learn and compute the outputs

    b. How designers can utilize AI in their work

    c. How to design AI systems

    d. Ethical aspects of AI

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    Pass / Fail. To pass the course, the students need to

    a. Actively attend all sessions
    b. Actively attend teamwork and their final presentations
    c. Submit all homework assignments showing understanding of the assignment topic

Workload

    The total workload for the course amounts to 54 hours (2cr):

    a. Contact teaching: 24h (6x3h + 6x1h)
