    Pre-assignments

    The primary purpose of the pre-assignments is to facilitate the student's learning process by:

    • Analyzing various study material (book chapters, articles, videos)
    • Relating learning material to student's prior knowledge and experiences (reflection)
    • Fostering an active student-centred deep-learning approach to learning through doing assignments (solving cases and exercises, writing essays)


    There are two types of pre-assignments and assignments:

    • Reflective analysis pre-assignments are essays written individually. Most if not all pre-assignments are these kinds of tasks.
    • Case-assignment exercises that are done in groups during lectures.

    Specific instructions and tasks for each pre-assignment are provided in the respective folders below.

    The deadline for submitting each pre-assignment is before the respective lecture. Submission boxes for each pre-assignment will be found below once the course starts.
