Sub-tasks
1. Analyse the applicability to our complex hybrid design task – the main concept for a multipurpose complex, the project's comparability with its room programme, size etc.
2. Pictorial metaxographic analysis of architectural principles of relationships between functions, spaces etc. This includes an image analysis by separating different “object systems” by diffent colours of outlines and classified by Ren Zhuoying’s diagrammatic categories (see Ren's text in Resources - with possible other categories recognised). The images can be either/or/both perspective pictures and projections.
3. Trope analysis (a recurrent motif from elsewhere): Analyse how the building has copied, multiplied and modified already existing earlier architectural elements and situated these to new context, programme and function. These findings can later be applied to the creation of new architecture as well in the design stage – partly recycled and partly new.
