ARK-E1021 - Studio Spring, Humanitarian Architecture, Interplay of Cultures, 12.1.2023-8.6.2023

Pre Assignment for all studio participants

Due: Wednesday, 18 January 2023, 4:00 PM

We will introduce ourselves to each other during the studio meeting on 19.1.2023 through a mini presentation in pecha kucha format.

Instructions:

Make a pdf-presentation with five slides in landscape A4 format. On each slide use one image to describe the following:

1. slide: “the landscape I grew up in”

2. slide: “an important experience of a built space I’ve had”

3. slide: “an encounter with a new culture I’ve had”

4. slide: “What is important about architecture for me?”

5. slide: “What do I hope to learn during this studio?”

Name your file: firstname_lastname.pdf 

Submit to MyCourses by 18 January 2023, 4:00. Make sure to be in time so we have time to combine the files into one file and time them.

On Thursday 19.1. in the studio meeting we will begin the session by presenting ourselves through this presentation. You will have 20 seconds per slide to answer the questions. The presentations will be timed. The presentations will run in alphabetical order based on our names.
