Individual assignment 2: Perception, learning and memory
This week we focus on consumer perception, learning, and memory in the context of the online retail environment.
First, read the following chapters in the course book:
Chapter 4: Perception and
Chapter 7: Learning and memory.
After you've completed the required reading, visit Amazon.com. Based on the course material and your experience on the Amazon site, reflect on the questions below:
1. Think about consumer perception. What are the differences between shopping in an online store and a traditional store?
2. How has Amazon used knowledge of consumer behavior related to perception, learning, and memory in designing the website?
As last week, you have a lot of freedom to complete the assignment, as long as you go through the main theories and concepts explained in the course text book.
