The assignment consists of two parts:
1. Reflection on given articles (1 page, Font 12, Line spacing 1.0)
Note: Write reflection paper 2 about the following articles: Vuori et al. (2018) and Ailon-Souday & Kunda (2003)
- Summarize the key points of the articles (0,5 points)
- Discuss how key points of these articles complement or contradict to each other (0,5 points)
- Discuss whether the points confirm or refute your practical knowledge or intuition (1 point)
2. Analysis of individually chosen case (1 page, Font 12, Line Spacing 1.0)
- Analyze your chosen case from the design perspective. Aim to answer the following questions:
- Describe the org structure of the new organization, its strengths and potential weaknesses?
- What integration approach is to be pursued and why?
- Describe how resources are to be reconfigured and why?
- What leadership team is to lead the new organization?
- How do the new structure and the leadership help to realize the intended M&A value?
