A2b Individual Persuasive Presentation (not for course grading)
Completion requirements
Due: in class 13.00 on Monday 7 February (Session 4)
Topic: You can freely choose the topic, as long as it is persuasive, business/work-related and appropriate to the assignment instructions.
Length: 5 minutes
Visual support material: PowerPoint presentation slides etc should NOT be used for the presentation. You are warmly encouraged, however, to use other visual support materials (e.g. product demo/flipchart, handouts...).
Procedure in class in small groups (Zoom Breakout Rooms):
- Take turns giving your 5-minute presentations.
- During each presentation, other students act as the audience, and they write down written feedback (on the 'A2b Student presentation feedback sheet' provided in MyCourses under 'A2b Individual Persuasive Presentation').
- After each presentation, the group should spend about 7 minutes giving oral feedback to the presenter. Talk about both the good points of the presentation and the points to consider. It is important that the presenter gets comprehensive feedback in order to know what her/his strong and weaker points are.
- Give your feedback forms to the presenter at the end of the session (eg via email, Messages, etc.
