Concept pitch
Completion requirements
Due: Friday, 28 October 2022, 12:15 PM
Submit the files you used to present your concept, and prepare to provide feedback to the team you were assigned to give feedback to.
Instructions for the pitch:
- Concept pitch is compulsory for all the students. The peer reviews for the pitches are graded as fail, pass or distinction. However, it will be an open, friendly and informal environment. So, it's totally acceptable if you haven't gone far with your concept yet. This should be seen as an opportunity to collect valuable feedback!
- A pitch shouldn't be more than 10 minutes long (timed). Video/ppt./pdf file (other tools are accepted as well) of the pitch should be uploaded to MyCourses submission box.
- After each pitch, there will be a few minutes reserved for an assigned group to ask questions. The assigned group will later submit a written peer review in MyCourses (in about 300 words).
- The groups can play a pre-recorded video during the session, or can pitch virtually real-time (you can find the Zoom link in MyCourses homepage). It is important that every group member should contribute in one way or the other.
- Pitch the concept, design process, material selection, manufacturing & assembly plan, + any other aspects that you feel is relevant.
- The default order for the pitches will be based on your group numbers.
- Remember to give a name to your group.
