In the Business Game, teams of four to five students manage a growth company in a dynamic technology industry and compete against each other in a simulated game environment. The game consists of two full days making strategic and managerial decisions in supervised game sessions in a computer class. The course gives the participants a holistic view of a company's different functions and their interdependencies. It offers a chance to practice strategic and operative management and management of growth in a dynamic, international market.
Course attendance in Spring 2019
On this course, you will attend:
- Mandatory starting lecture: May 9, at 14:00 - 16:00 o'clock, hall TU1, TUAS
- Mandatory participation in the game. The game takes two whole days, May 23-24 (from 10 AM to 8 PM).
This spring, ONE GAME lasting two full days will be organized:

Forming a team
After registering to the course in Oodi, form a four-person team and add yourselves to one team in either of the games by clicking on the "Choose your group" section below (you need to be logged in to do this).
Make sure each of your team members is registered to the same team by the starting lecture on May 9.Submitting assignments
Each team will submit one Business plan and one End report.
Deadline for the Business plan is 21.5. 24:00 and deadline for the End report two weeks after the game.
Prerequisites
The course does not have any explicit prerequisites but a broad understanding of the different functions of businesses are required in each team and the course is recommended for students at the end of their studies. Additionally, teams are expected to provide budgets, profitability analysis and evaluation of their company in the assignments.
