    This course investigates twist and torsion and in more detail bending-active torsional structures with regards to geometrical, structural and architectural potentials, limits and qualities. 

    We assume an underestimated benefit from elastic torsion. Therefore bending-active torsional structures will result in a novel typology of lightweight structures by means of a novel beam type. Together we will explore the possible design-space by using the method in various, novel configurations.
