1. Codes for master's thesis course (.thes) and maturity essay (.matr) in Study Plan (HOPS)

• You'll need the right code for master's thesis course (.thes) and maturity essay (.matr) when adding the course to your study plan (HOPS) in Sisu. Most likely you have already added the masters thesis course and maturity essay to your study plan. Even though: 
  • Please check that you have chosen the correct codes to your study plan: 
    • Your master's thesis course code depends on the department/school of your supervisor. 
    • Your maturity essay code is determined by the school of your supervisor. 

2. Codes and names for majors

• You'll need the code and name for major when applying for thesis topic and submitting your thesis in eAge. 
• As the names of the majors are only in English, use the English names in all contexts (also in Finnish/Swedish abstracts). Similarly, use the English programme name wherever necessary for coherence.
