What: Thesis presentation is completed as a seminar presentation or an equivalent presentation as a part of masters thesis. Completion is a mandatory part of a master's thesis for all School of Science students. NB! IEM students: Instead of a thesis presentation, you must complete a maturity test; check your instructions here.

When: The thesis presentation must be completed before/during the finalization of the thesis. The last possible date to give the thesis presentation is the deadline for submitting theses and applications for evaluation.

How is it done?

  1. Ask your supervisor for instructions and plan the presentation to be completed well before submitting the final version of your thesis. 
  2. Arrange the time and place for the presentation with the supervisor.
  3. Give the presentation.
  4. The supervisor marks the thesis presentation completion date for your information in the thesis management system.
