Completion requirements
Evaluation process.
- The evaluation process starts once you have submitted your thesis to MyStudies.
- Your thesis will be evaluated by two examiners. Typically, one of the evaluators is your supervisor.
Interrupting the evaluation process
- You can interrupt the evaluation process.
- This happens if one of the examiners (the supervisor or the other examiner) notices that you thesis is insufficient according to the evaluation criteria and would be failed, e.g. due to severe plagiarism.
- In this case, your supervisor will contact you. You will need to formally ask for the interruption of the evaluation process. Then, your supervisor will give you instructions on how to proceed.
- If evaluation is not interrupted and the thesis fails, the student needs to restart the thesis process. This means that you will need to restart the thesis process from the beginning with a new topic.
After the evaluation
- Once the evaluation process is complete, the student services will inform you about the grade and include the statement from the evaluators. They will also inform you about the procedures to appeal the grade.
- At this point, you receive the final credits for the thesis.
- You can apply for graduation immediately after submitting your thesis if all necessary studies are completed.
