  • A1: Analyzing a talk

a) Search and analyze a presentation for its strengths and weaknesses (do's and don'ts of presentations) - 4 points

b) watch another presentation posted by someone else and comment in Forum  - 3 points

  • A2: Reading chapters from course books and reflecting - 5 points


  • Week 2: Analyse your audience & purpose of your talk & Plan and organise your talk


  • A3: Study Week 2 material on audience & purpose & Forum: audience and purpose - 5 point

  • A4: Your own presentation: topic, audience and purpose -  5 points

  • A5: Study Week 2 materials on organization, intro, conclusion & transitions and create an outline - 10 points 


    Week 3: Design the visuals

  • A6: Reports and analyses of different types of slide design - 5 points

  • A7: Slides with justification - 5 points


    Week 4:  Practise your talk and give & get feedback

  • A8: Practice session + feedback -  5 points

  •  Week 5: Practice your talk

  • A9: Report on your chosen two areas for learning and share links/resources - 5 points

    Week 6: Final presentation & Self-evaluation

  • Final version of your presentation: 40 points

  • A10: Self-evaluation of final presentation - 3 points

  • A11: Final reflections on your initial learning goals and actual learning in this course + answer course feedback - 5 points
