Is the course fully online? I mean, are there any contact sessions or other activities I have to attend in person?

The course is fully online, meaning that there are no lectures, exams or other sessions you have to attend to complete the course.

I wanted to take CS-E4100 Mobile Cloud Computing but that is not offered any more. What can I do?

If you have CS-E4100 Mobile Cloud Computing in your study plan, you can take this course instead as a replacement. If you are interested in mobile computing and Android application programming, you can take CS-EJ4102 Mobile Application Development with Android in addition to (or as an alternative to) this course.

How is this course related to CS-EJ4101 Introduction to DevOps?

This course also covers the content in CS-EJ4104 Introduction to DevOps The online activities of the two courses are different though.

Can I use CS-EJ4101 Introduction to DevOps to replace (part of) this course?

You cannot use CS-EJ4104 Introduction to DevOps (or the previously-offered CS-EJ4101 course with the same name) to replace part of this course. However, you can take CS-EJ4104 as an elective course.

Are there any technical requirements to take the course?

To take this course you will need: a desktop or laptop with at least a web browser, a text editor (we recommend either Sublime Text or Visual Studio Code) and git; a Google Cloud Platform account. Additional practicalities will be available under the section for the first module.
