The sample consists of 108 Internet and 108 other common stock IPOs in the US in the period of January 18th 1998 -March 3rd 2000. The table describes the characteristics of the samples. Revenue growth is the percentage change from two years prior to the IPO to one year prior to the IPO. EPS is the earnings per share one year prior to the IPO. Total assets is the totalling assets one year prior to the IPO. D/E ratio is the debt to equity ratio one year prior to the IPO. Filing range / Offer price is the filing price range divided by the offer price.
