1. Create a new repository (green button ‘New’, top-right of the screen, in ‘Repositories’ section) in https://github.com/aalto-mediacode

2. Choose option “Public”, then press “Create repository”.

3. Once you create it, in next screen there will be an option “Set up in Desktop”. This will open your GitHub desktop. If that doesn't show up, an alternative would be to press the green button "Code" in the new repository page, and select the "Open with GitHub Desktop" option.

4. Press “Clone” in GitHub desktop, a folder will be created in your GitHub local folder with the name of the repository.

5. Copy all your project files to the repository folder in your GitHub local folder.

6. In GitHub desktop the changes to the folder will be detected, so: a) add a Summary, b) press “Commit to Master” and then c) “Publish branch”.

7. Check https://github.com/aalto-mediacode to see your files there.
