Instructions for submitting presentations:

Please submit your presentation by Thursday 20 Jan 2022 at 5:00 PM, here.

1. File types:

We generally accept Keynote (KN) and PowerPoint (PP) presentations. Google Slides (GS) is also fine but it is much safer to make into a PowerPoint or Keynote and run it locally as Google Slides essentially does exactly what PP and KN do. Some people like to use Prezi. That is also cool and Prezi definitely enables something that none of the aforementioned doesn’t.

PDFs are also cool but PDF viewers don't have presenter displays and thus you won’t be able to see that. Also, it is quite easy to make a PDF into a bunch of images and have them run in PP or KN.

2. The List:

  • Keynote
  • PowerPoint
  • Prezi

3. Videos:

Generally, always embed videos into your presentations. Don’t expect that we will be able to close your presentation app, open a folder, open a file and then play your video. If the video that you want to show is on YouTube then download it and put it in your presentation. ClipGrab is a software that can download videos from various platforms. We don’t mind if you presentations are large 😉, we want them to be smooth 🏄🏼.

4. Fonts:

If your presentations use some special fonts, then please include these in the upload. Otherwise, they will not show. This, of course, is not necessary if your presentation is made up of a bunch of images only 😁.

5. File Naming:

Please name your uploaded files in the following manner if possible:

TeamName_ProjectName_SubmissionVersionsNum.file_extension

Example: HelloWorld_AppleMadness_V13.key
