Looking for a MSc Position?

There are two routes for a MSc thesis position:

1. Academia: Find a position in academia from the list presented here. Arrange an interview with the professor, sign a (visitor) contract and agree on the starting day. Typically these Master thesis positions are unpaid. Sometimes (in case of external funding) there may be also opportunities for paid positions.
2. Industry: Find a position in industry. Then find a supervising professor from Aalto CHEM. Before signing the work contract, check with your supervising professor that the thesis topic is ok and related to your master studies. Note also that the thesis is a public document, and only the public version of the thesis affects grading.

You are expected to complete your MSc thesis by the end of the 2^nd year of master studies (July)
