Search completed theses of your own field from the Aalto Doc archive: https://aaltodoc.aalto.fi/handle/123456789/3.

You can eg. search by department or search theses supervised by a certain professor (enter professor name as a search term).
As a reference to the assignment you can also have look at an example list of theses from 2018 and from 2019-2021. You can also pick any other thesis from the archive.

Choose one thesis for the assignment. Based on the chosen thesis, answer to following questions:

What is the research problem and the goal of the thesis?
What research methods have been used?
Did the author find a solution? What is the solution or the main conclusion of the thesis?
What was your general impression of the thesis you read? Was it clear and understandable? Was the text fluent to read?

Insert your answers by 18.2.2022 at 18.00.

If open questions remain about the thesis you read, consult with your mentor or with your future thesis supervisor.
