Intended Learning Outcomes:
After this course, you will be able to:
- understand your role as a teacher in the diverse learners' learning process in different situations
- identify the opportunities provided by the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Self-Determination Theory (SDT) as pedagogical approaches and apply these principles to your teaching
- design accessible teaching materials

- equity, diversity, and inclusion principles and practices in higher education and at Aalto University
- evidence-based teaching approaches to support the learning of a wide range of learners: Universal Design for Learning & Self-Determination Theory
- digital accessibility of teaching and learning materials
