At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- recognize tools available to urban planners to influence travel behavior and minimize negative
spillovers to society
- contribute productively to discussions on the effectiveness of various contemporary transportation
policies
- use data to analyse the social costs and benefits of new (and planned) projects and policies
