LEARNING OUTCOMES

After this course, the students are able to

a) analyze the position of user experience -related work in an organization,

b) apply a suitable employee inquiry method in workplace setting, and

c) evaluate one’s own approach to improving user experience in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Content

    The first part of the course is about studying the work of user experience professionals, and the second part about reflection of one’s own professional approach and career plan.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Participation in all activities of the course, completion of the field research and the reflective report.

    3 cr = 81 h

    Contact teaching (12h): Lectures, Tutoring sessions, Team work presentations

Further Information

    This is a capstone course for students accepted to USchool. The students are expected to have completed most courses of their USchool minor studies and be near graduation.
