Content

The course offers a combination of theory, company cases, and hands-on practice in purpose driven prototyping for innovation. The practical work is built around both groupwork in class and individual assignments.
For those requiring a 6 credit course to fit their degree program, this course can be combined with an additional 1cr MEC-E3900 Prototyping tools at the Design Factory, or with a one-credit moself-study module of JOIN-E3910 or JOIN-E3910.

Workload

The course consists of weekly lecture and workshop sessions at the Design Factory prototyping facilities in Period III, covering a combination of theory, company cases and hands-on practice in purpose-driven prototyping for innovation. Groupwork is utilized during class time, but all outside-class assignments are individual assignments.
