  • can describe key considerations for future focused thinking and innovation
  • can identify appropriate conditions to utilize select design thinking and/or design methods

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    This self-study online course introduces students to design thinking as a process for human-centred creative problem solving. With modules including case examples from organizations as well as introductory videos to different tools and methods, the course offers students the opportunity to explore the basics as well as contemporary issues in using design thinking approaches to improve innovation outcomes.

    The amount of study credits depends on the number of online modules chosen by the student.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Completion and quality of the online quizzes and tasks.

Workload

    This is a self-study online course that can be completed at any time in the student's own pace. Course assessment and registrations will be made after the exam week of each period.
