  • Introduction to JOIN-E3910

This self-study online course, where students can choose from the online self-study modules offered on the MyCourse pages of the course, introduces students to design thinking as a process for human-centred creative problem solving. With modules including case examples from organizations as well as introductory videos to different tools and methods, the course offers students the opportunity to explore the basics as well as contemporary issues in using design thinking approaches to improve innovation outcomes. The full content of these modules becomes visible in MyCourses as soon as you register to the course, and these can be completed by the student at any time during the year.

The amount of study credits depends on the number of online modules chosen by the student.

There are two one-credit modules available for self-study, where you can pick 1-2 to complete to gain 1-2 study credits. You need to complete all lessons and questions from the module to pass. You can retake the modules - but please make sure to save your essay responses to a separate file, as these seem to be deleted in re-takes.
