  • Lectures (that we call seminars) are always on Wednesdays, 14:15 - 17:00 in lecture hall TU7. The lectures are interactive (e.g. lecturing + active group working / discussions) and have a varying length between 2 to 3 hours including breaks.

Participation in the seminars will help students to understand the course material, deepen their understanding of various knowledge areas and concepts and prepare better for learning diaries through in-class group works. Our visiting lecturers are high profile academic speakers with excellent records as well as top-ranked speakers from various Finnish companies with further practical insight.

Pre-materials for each seminar will be distributed to you at least one week before the seminar through MyCourses. There are two types of pre-materials for each seminar:

    1. Pre-seminar readings
    2. Pre-seminar videos

You are expected/encouraged to read/watch these materials before coming to the seminar, and bring with you two things/notions when you come:

    • What was the most interesting part of the pre-material and why?
    • What question would you like to address to elaborate the seminar discussion theme further?
