  • M36 Check

    Scientist with a laptop.In order to provide a follow-up process to the midterm at M18, we have introduced a lighter check also at M36. This essentially only involves the student completing a single form providing an update on the PhD status (two examples are given below) and agreeing it with the supervision team. This is then sent to the midterm coordinator responsible for that student. However, we would also encourage the supervision team to involve the original midterm referee or other external expert in the process, perhaps through a short talk or informal discussion.

    A reminder will be sent to students well in advance of the M36 date.
