    Tervetuloa kurssille Solu- ja molekyylibiologia!

    Kurssikirja on Alberts et al., Essential Cell Biology (W. W. Norton, 5th ed.). Kurssilla käytetään myös saman kustantajan elektronista oppimisympäristöä. Kurssille ilmoittautuneet opiskelijat saavat koodin ja käyttäjätunnuksen elektroniseen oppimisympäristöön, jonka kautta saa käyttöönsä elektronisen oppikirjan sekä suoritettavat tehtävät. Kurssin arvosana muodostuu elektronisten ja mahdollisten muiden tehtävien ja demojen suorittamisesta sekä tentistä, joka perustuu oppikirjaan, luentoihin, elektroniseen oppimismateriaaliin ja/tai muihin kurssin aikana jaettaviin materiaaleihin ja tehtäviin.

    Kurssin yleiset asiat ja aikataulu käydään läpi ensimmäisellä Zoom-luentokerralla 17.9.2021 ja ne löytyvät luennon jälkeen myös PDF-tiedostona täältä MyCourses -sivuilta, kohdasta "Materiaalit". On erittäin tärkeää, että sinulle on selvillä nämä tiedotusasiat heti kurssin alussa! Kurssi sisältää pakollisia tehtäviä, joita ei voi suorittaa enää määräaikojen umpeuduttua. Seuraa myös sähköpostin kautta tulevaa tietoa ja aikatauluja.

    Welcome to course Cell and Molecular Biology!

    The textbook is Alberts et al., Essential Cell Biology (W. W. Norton, 5th ed.). The course also uses an electronic learning environment from the same publisher. Students who register for the course will receive a code and a username for the electronic learning environment, through which they will have access to an electronic textbook and the tasks to be performed. The course grade consists of completing electronic and any other assignments and demos, as well as an exam based on a textbook, lectures, electronic learning material, and / or other materials and assignments distributed during the course. PLEASE NOTE that the lectures are held only in Finnish.

    The general issues and schedule of the course will be reviewed during the first Zoom lecture on September 17, 2021 and after the lecture they will also be available as a PDF file here on the MyCourses pages, under "Materials". (All important info and deadlines are provided also in English). It is very important that you are aware of these information at the very beginning of the course! The course includes compulsory assignments that can no longer be completed after the deadlines. Also keep track of email information and schedules.
