  • Introduction

    Leading as Practice -course is aimed to students who are interested in learning more about leadership as a conceptual and practical social phenomenon, and to enhance and develop personal thinking of leadership from relational and constructive perspectives. The course is a mandatory for students having Organizational Design and Leadership/Entrepreneurial Leadership/Leadership and Knowledge Management as their major or minor. The course will be given as an online version due the COVID-19 situation. 

    The course consists of two larger personal essays, five so called mini-essays serving as preparation for the lectures, a group assignment, and eight lectures. The course will start with an opening lecture on 11.1. at 9.15-12 am in Zoom:

    This same link applies to all lectures. The opening lecture is followed by the first personal essay - the Introduction essay.  The purpose of the Introduction essay is to ensure that the participants will have similar enough pre-knowledge in the beginning. The Introduction essay must be passed in order to be allowed to continue on the course. The due time of the Introduction essay is the 21st of January at 2 pm. You will find the assignment for the essay in the Assignment -folder. We recommend that you will start to familiarise yourself with the materials as early as possible - even before the official start of the course.

The most important is that you'll mark the lecture dates and essay/assignment deadlines to your personal calendar. We strongly wish that you decide to attend to the classes.
